Five years.

It's been an extemely busy week so I'm behind on blogging, but Friday P & I celebrated our five year anniversary!  Several people told me that it didn't seem like we had been married that long.  I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it seems to me like we have been married forever!  I'm not much of a mushy person so I won't go into how he's my best friend & how I love him more today than the day of our wedding, blah, blah.  I will keep it simple & say that I am proud to call him my husband & I only hope that we will always be as happy as we have been during our first five years of marriage.

Friday was wonderful.  We both got off of work early & went to Greenville, just the two of us.  It's such a rare treat that we do something other than go out to dinner!  We went shopping at my favorite store, Loft, first.  We got there at 5:50 to find out that they closed at 6.  Seriously, on a Friday night!  Luckily, I had scoped out my favorite items online & I know my size there so I ran in & picked out everything I had liked online & was out in ten minutes.  That made P a happy man, ha!

Then we had dinner at Olive Garden.  That was P's choice.  It's always a favorite of mine too, so we agreed.  They have my favorite wine anyway :)

After eating, we stopped to shop for P a new pair of boots before heading home to pick up Mallory.

So, all in all, a perfect day!
