My girls lately

Here are pics of the girls from my phone or facebook.  I did take a lot of Easter pictures with my camera but who knows when or if they will ever be uploaded...

For the past year or so, when I look at Mallory it is just like seeing a mini-me.  All I ever heard when she was a baby was how much she looks like Patrick but definitely not anymore.  She is all me now.  I do love this girl!

They enjoy taking a bath together.  Of course, the oldest is being a puppy with her tongue out...

One Sunday morning before church...

Hadley acts like it is her job to pick things up and throw them.  Here she was picking up Mallory's clothes off of the floor and throwing them in the tub.  And she was so proud!

Oh this isn't the girls, it's my legs but it is showing one of my favorite things right now....spray tans.  Heck yea!

She really is this happy 99% of the time.

She crawled in my suitcase as I was packing for my trip.

Mallory's school Easter party

We made bunny bait (from Pinterest) and I ate too much of it.

And dyed Easter eggs.

A typical outfit for Mallory...tank top, shorts and boots.  Sure, why not?!

Oh boy, do I have an eater!  This is Hadley awaiting her next bite of dinner.  She is like a little bird waiting for her mama to drop the worm in.

Girls Trip

I went on my very first overnight girls trip since I became a mom a few weeks ago.  This was kinda huge for me.  I've never been away from Hadley for more than the amount of time that I spend at work during a day and I've never been away from Mallory for more than one night.  Also, ever since I was in the hospital for Hadley's birth, Mallory will not spend the night away from home.  Even with her grandparents.  We have tried several times and she always ends up coming back home around 10:00 pm.

My soon to be sister-in-law decided to go to Savannah, GA for her bachelorette weekend and while I was very excited and very much looking forward to the trip, I was nervous at the same time.  We ended up with 12 girls going on the trip and I think we all had a blast.  We were there St Patrick's Day weekend and Savannah really goes all out for the occasion.  Basically, the town was one big party all weekend.  Perfect for a bach weekend!

With the bride to be

Since there were 12 of us and the crowds were so massive, we each had an assigned buddy to keep up with to make sure no one got lost or left behind.
Me and my buddy, Kelly.

How cute is she?!

We spent Saturday morning at the parade.  It was by far the largest parade that I have ever been to and it is tradition for all the girls to wear bright lipstick and kiss the servicemen on the cheek as they are marching in the parade.

It was a great trip and I really surprised myself at doing so well being away from the girls.  I only teared up one time after talking to Mallory on the phone.  We did face time each night so that helped out.  I got to see them and they got to see me.  Patrick surprised me as well and did good with the girls while I was away.  He even made it to church on Sunday with both of them...on time!  I can't even get there on time!  I think it was a good getaway for us all.  I definitely need to plan a girls trip or take a vacation just me and Patrick at least once a year...while I love nothing more than being mama to my girls, it was nice to have a break too!
