I don't do these 'month-day' updates every month for Mallory, but I like to do them once in a while just because she changes pretty much every day.
She is 20 months old today! Time to start thinking about her birthday party again. I know I want her to have some kind of party, but it will be much less extravagant than her first birthday.
One of Miss Mallory's favorite things these days is Curious George. I believe she was watching him while I snapped these pics of her in her pj's.
She has also finally started wearing hair bows again. This makes me very happy because 1) I think they are the cutest thing, 2) her hair is getting long enough where she needs a bow or clip to keep it out of her face & 3) she has a fabulous collection that has been going to waste! I can thank Minnie's Bow-tique which has been showing on Disney all week for the new love of hair bows. Every time I put one in her hair, she touches it {she used to just pull it right out every time}, & says 'so pretty'!
Saturday morning goodness, right here.
Mallory loves being outside no matter where she is at. Most of the time when she is outside she is wide open like in this picture. She is always saying, "I running, I running fast!" She is saying more & more sentences every day.
We are still co-sleeping & I think we are going to keep co-sleeping until we get in our new house. Hopefully, a new house, new room & new big girl bed will be enough persuasion for Mallory to sleep on her own. I know that's not likely, but I would be just fine with at least half a night in her own bed. I think because I am away from her the majority of five days a week, sleeping with her helps me feel like I get more time with her.
Very curious about each & everything she comes across.
When we go places in the car she has started recognizing where we are going or where we are at when we arrive. She always knows when we are at Granny's house!
She has really come around with preschool & seems to love going now. She comes home talking about her teacher, Mimi & sings songs that they sing in class.
I just learned tonight that I was potty trained at 21 months. I know Mallory will not be. We have worked with it a little, but she just does not show any signs of being ready yet and that's okay.
Her favorite foods remain the same: hot dogs & spaghetti. Her new favorite snack is yogurt covered raisins. She also loves apples, she ate two whole apples for snack yesterday!
That's our little boo at 20 months old! She knows & loves all of her grandparents so much. She can say all of their names that she calls them. She is a very loved little girl!
