March is always a very crazy month for me. I have four girlfriends that I am extremely close to & love like sisters. All of their birthdays fall between March 13-24. Add in there - my anniversary on the 11th, Granny Pat's birthday on the 11th and my Grandaddy's on the 23rd. We are on the go A LOT in the month of March. I am not sure what I was thinking when I thought getting married in March was a good idea. Despite all of the craziness, it is always a good time!
This past Saturday night, Leigh's mom threw her a surprise party for her 30th birthday. Here is a picture of her coming into her party. She acted surprised but later we found out that she knew about her party! At least she put on a good front :)
Me & the birthday girl. Welcome to 30 Leigh!
All of these girls with the exception of me are March babies. I must be very compatible with Pisces :)
Also: I realize I look pregnant in the shirt I was wearing, but I am NOT. Just need to lose some lbs.
One more March baby. Can't forget the lovely A Manning!
We all had a great time at the party. Leigh's mom did a wonderful job planning everything. Mallory spent the night with her Granny & it was a fun night out for me & P with all of our friends.
Completely changing the subject now, I am LOVING daylight savings time in the evenings! There is SO much work going on at the house we are moving into. It has been like extreme home makeover over there. Here is a picture of the house we will be living in while our house is built, from our front yard. It will be exciting to see our new house being built {kinda} in our backyard!
Yea...I know the grass needs mowing.
I am too lazy to list out everything that has been done to the house so far, but the transformation in a week and a half is amazing. Mallory & I have been riding the golf cart over there every afternoon when I get home from work & checking out the progress. Even the horrific smell is fading....yay!!
I took this yesterday afternoon right before we went over to the new house. Can't get enough of her!!
& changing the subject one last time, Mallory had her Saint Patrick's Day party at school today.
She has become the slowest little eater. I thought she would never finish her chips, cheese doodles & cupcake today. She was the very last one sitting at the table nibbling like a little snail.
There was only one other mom at the party so I hung around for a while & watched all the kids play. It was so funny to see them interact with each other. Mallory was saying "Daddy truck" here.
Her favorite toy was this dog. She would get upset whenever anyone else tried to play with it. She shook it around mostly, like she is doing here.
The only other little girl in her class, Peyton. Peyton amazed me today with the things she says. She is SO GROWNY!! She used the potty & did the potty dance with Mimi. Very cute!
Mallory LOVES Mimi!
All of the other kids kept asking me to take their picture. I thought that was so funny because Mallory HATES having her picture made!
As crazy & random as this post is, that's what is going on these days! Packing is going very slow. I need to get motivated...I just seem to be having a hard time getting started. Time is running out though!
