Low-key weekend.

We didn't have much going on this weekend, therefore I have been productive :)

I am completely caught up on laundry for the first time since we moved, woohoo.  Also, I have to add that Trish convinced me to buy a much less expensive brand of detergent, Sun.  She uses it & loves it so I gave it a try & now I love it too.  I am so brand loyal & usually use only name brand items for cleaning but yay for saving a few dollars!!

The only thing we had to do this weekend was go to a Celebrating Home party that Megan had yesterday.  Mallory & I went & she did really good.  She was completely occupied by Megan's cat, Abby.  Trish kept telling me that we needed to get her a kitten.  Don't think so Trish! Haha!

Last night, Ashley M offered to babysit for us so Patrick & I could have a date, but we ended up having horrible storms & tornadoes so that fell through.  Nothing scares me like a tornado.  Ever since I was around 18 or so & my whole family had to get in the bathtub while one went through our front yard in the middle of the night, I have been terrified.  The weather kept saying that one was coming directly to us.  It hit just a few miles away & caused considerable damage but we are so thankful it wasn't any worse.

Mallory & I went to church this morning, then we picked up daddy & had lunch at Pizza Inn.  We decided to try a booster seat for Mallory since she hates sitting in a highchair in restaurants.  Well, the booster seat was no better.  We picked Pizza Inn for the sole reason that we thought Mallory would like it & she wouldn't eat one thing.  We crammed our lunch in & got out as fast as we could.  I'm beginning to wonder if it is possible to ever enjoy a meal with a toddler in tow.  So far, no luck for me.  Afterwards, we went to Wal-Mart & got stuff for Mallory's Easter egg hunt & party.  I also got ingredients to make red velvet white chocolate chip cookies.  I got the recipe from here & oh my goodness those babies are so good!!!

Now, I am just waiting for Mallory to wake up from her nap, then we are going to play outside for a little bit & go visit Grandmother & Grandaddy.  Grandaddy, Jason & Joseph are on the way home from Myrtle Beach from a little golf trip & I think Grandmother is lonely.  She has been texting wanting to know what we are doing.  See you soon Grandmother ;)
