22 months and a new toy.

As of Friday the 13th, my little boo is 22 months old!

She is getting so big & growing up SO FAST!  I can already see her out on a soccer field in a few years.  She seems to be more athletic than mommy...she loves to play any kind of ball!

Yesterday we had a mommy & Mallory day.  We went shopping for a new outdoor toy.  She loves to play outside & the only toy she hasn't really outgrown outside is her playhouse, but that gets kind of boring by herself.  We went to Toys R Us & as soon as I saw this toy, I knew it was the one!

It's a little sink with a pump faucet that runs water.  Mallory washed her dishes & toys all afternoon long & had a blast!  To say she loves it would definitely be an understatement.

Of course the toy had to be put together {which I did by myself...again}.  I was trying to put it together & Mallory got VERY grumpy.  She started screaming & I realized she needed a nap, stat.  I told her if she kept letting out screams, the toys were going away.  Well, she was ill & screamed again.  In the middle of putting it together, I gathered everything up & put it in the laundry room & told her she had to take a nap before she played with her new sink.  HOLY.MELTDOWN followed those actions.  I'm talking about meltdown on a whole new level.  Shew!!  The beginning of the terrible 2's maybe?

Once she woke up from her much needed nap, the new sink was all put together & the afternoon was spent playing happily.

I told my parents & Patrick's parents about the tantrum & Mallory got emotional just hearing me talk about it both times. She told them, "Mama took my toys" & acted like she could cry about it!

All that washing made her thirsty I guess.

This was before church this morning.  We had homecoming today & Mallory looked so cute in her Lily dress.  Thanks A Manning for the great find!!

ALL morning, Mallory has begged to play with her 'new toy'.  We kept telling her after church, she could play.  We kept our promise!

 Day 2 & it's still a hit!  Maybe the best $50 I've ever spent.

I'm *thinking* this might be the photo for Mallory's birthday party invitation!  If I don't get a better one within the next week or so, this is it!
