Tis' the season

December has started off with a bang.  We have at least one thing (mostly two things) planned for every single Friday, Saturday & Sunday this month.  Fun times, fun times.  It is definitely making it difficult to potty train.  Mallory is doing great with it, but I'm scared to put her in panties when we go places where a bathroom isn't easily accessible, like Mike's Farm, for example.  Mallory's preschool had a field trip there last Thursday and I went along with her.  She had lots of fun & here she is with her very best friend from school, Brinkley.  These girls love each other so much.  They give each other big hugs every morning at school and Brinkley's mom told me that all Brinkley talks about is getting her ears pierced "just like Mallory".  So cute.

I could eat her up.  I guess she has heard me say that to her so much, she asked me could I eat her up the other day.  Or now that I think about it, she could have noticed my increased appetite, ha.

Mommy & Mallory

The following Saturday, we met some friends to go see Santa.  The girls weren't very fond of Santa but Jack acted like a man and showed the girls how brave he was.  Mallory & Tyler Kate were bigger fans of the elf so they sat with her & made Christmas ornaments.  Mallory told Santa from afar that she wanted a car.  She made sure he knew that.

They don't realize how close Santa is standing behind them :)  This is also how we had to get Mallory's professional picture with Santa this year.  She is sitting in a rocking chair and Santa is peeking at her from behind.  It's still cute though.

We tried to have a photo session on the bales of straw, but failed to get any good pics.  Surprised? :)

& this just makes me laugh.  Who knows how much straw they swallowed, but we were trying to keep them still and in place.

Then on Sunday, we took family Christmas pictures, went to the parade & Mallory finally got the nerve to ride a horse.  She loved it and now also wants a pair of boots from Santa.  Pictures coming soon!
