What do I want for Christmas?

That is the question that everyone keeps asking me. And for once in my entire lifetime, I have no idea. I do not think this has ever happened. Ever.

The one thing that I can think of is a nice pair of stud earrings that goes with everything (but not diamonds or pearls) and I can't find a pair that I like. Go figure.

I would say a new lens for my camera but I really don't know where to start there. Why should I get a new lens right now when I don't know what I'm doing with the current one??

I want a pair of caramel colored knee high boots. The ones I found that I like are Frye and $400+. Not happening. And can't find another pair.

Hmmm....there's nothing else I can think of that I want. VERY.SCARY. My mama has always said my middle name should have been 'want'. Maybe I've outgrew that and I am happy about it too :)

Caught Her!

I finally got my little point & shoot camera out of my purse & had it handy to catch the 'I got you' that Mallory says every time she wants to be picked up. I can't find the power cord to our video camera which is typical of me these days. I can't keep up with anything. Patrick was going to 'tear the house apart' & find it tonight. That lasted all of 5 seconds. (& it is still nowhere to be found). Anyway, she says it at the very beginning & I was trying to get her to say it again but she would not.

Here is another one. She says it twice in this video although a little harder to understand because she is talking around her paci... (not something a mother is proud of!)

On another note, Mallory made it till 8:00 tonight before going to bed. Wooo! That's a big improvement from the past two nights, 7:00 Sunday & 6:00 last night! This time change has really confused her & she can't seem to get enough sleep. I can't blame her...I feel the same way. Nighty Night!

Brrr...It's Cold!!

Normally, I really do not like cold weather but lately I've really gotten into the skinny jeans and boots so I am kind of glad it has finally gotten cooler. Well, that and so Mallory can wear the cutest hat ever! Trish had this hat made for Mallory and I LOVE IT! I have been waiting for it to get cold enough for her to wear it and it finally has. Of course, we had to take pictures Saturday.

Swinging with 'bear'

A family shot taken today at Grandma Louise's 80th birthday party!

Mallory went to bed at 7:00 tonight. The time changed has really confused her so she will probably be awake at 5 am tomorrow. Guess I should go to bed!

Halloween Weekend 2010

Halloween was on Sunday but the whole weekend was a busy one! I'm not really sure what I was thinking when I scheduled a CAbi clothes party on Thursday and then host BUNCO at my house the following Monday (the day after Halloween). I spent a ton of money on food and have worked my booty off trying to prepare everything, but it seems I am becoming more productive and MAYBE getting the hang of this mommy thing :) Everything turned out to be a success and I survived! Here are some pictures from our weekend:

We had this HUGE pumpkin sitting on our deck and Mallory liked to kiss it whenever she walked by it. Too sweet!

Grandaddy Oneal stopped by for a visit on Friday

Mallory wore her costume to the Trunk or Treat at Pleasant Hill Saturday afternoon. She was her favorite: Minnie Mouse!

Mallory and sweet little Kinsleigh playing together

Grandmother and Mallory watching the big kids jump

Granny Pat and Mallory thinking about jumping

Grandma Deb decided to go for it and jump with Mallory! They had a ball!

It got a little cold after dark so we changed Mallory's clothes to put her in her warmer Halloween outfit. Our family:

We had Fifth Sunday Supper at church Sunday night. Greenleigh & Mallory playing together.

Grandma Jean getting some sweet sugar! (And yes, Mallory wore that same outfit 3 days in a row, ha! We had to get our moneys worth!!)

Finally this was at bedtime Sunday night. Patrick snuck in and took a picture of me reading Mallory her bedtime story. She was a tired little girl!

I Got You!!

After months and months of saying single words and a few sentences such as "Hey Riwey", Mallory has a new sentence that she says ALL THE TIME. "I got you!" She holds her arms up and says it whenever she wants to be picked up or held. It is the sweetest thing and it just melts our hearts. Literally her daddy turns into a big puddle. I thought he was going to cry on me this morning, ha! I'm going to try to catch it on video soon so I can post it!

Here is a picture from Friday at Mema's house. I have lots of Halloween pictures to go through from the weekend that I haven't had time to get to yet! Somehow Mema can get Mallory to smile AND look at the camera at the same time. She needs to share her secret :)

Miss Hollywood

Mallory's thing lately has been glasses. She wants to constantly wear her 'gasses' and looks for them if she is does not have them on. It does not matter if we are indoors or out. I started taking pictures of her whenever she puts them on.

Here she is watching tv with daddy:

Sometimes they are like this when she puts them on herself. She doesn't mind.

Hanging out around the house in her 'gasses'

Reading a book:

Silly girl!

One Year at Mema's

One of Mallory's babysitters is sweet enough to send me pictures while I'm at work. It is the highlight of my day and I have saved all of them. Here are a few of my favorites:

This is one of her very first days with her Mema (Oct 09). She sent me this picture to show me Mallory holding the rattle.

Playing on her playmat at the end of October. She was 3 months old.

Sleeping oh so peacefully in November. So sweet!

Trying to sit up like a big girl in December!

Starting to eat some baby food at six months old.

Mommy obviously forgot to send a bib on this day!

Grandaddy Oneal popped in for a vist in February.

Mallory clapping at 8 months old!

Yay for warmer weather in April! Mallory loves to go for walks and be outside with Mema.

On the move in May!

Standing on her own in May.

Almost a year old and loving to play in Mema's rocks.

A good nap at the end of July.

Trying to drive the golfcart at 13 months old!

Mema says she always finds the water when she is outside. 14 months old.

I got lots of pictures where Mallory is trying to kiss this bear, give it her paci, or give it some of her juice!

After a whole year with Mema, Mallory is one happy girl!
